Doctor Benjamin (1784-1845) and Sarah (1788-1850) Albertson were married in 1809 at Piney Woods Meeting in Perquimans County, North Carolina. Benjamin was born in 1784 and was a son of Benjamin and Mary Albertson. Sarah Parker Albertson was born in 1788. After their marriage Sarah transferred to Suttons Creek Monthly Meeting, where Benjamin was a member. In 1818 they removed to Blue River Monthly Meeting in Washington County, Indiana, where they lived the remainder of their lives. Benjamin died in 1845. Sarah died in 1850.
Doctor Edmund P. Albertson (1813-1863) was born in 1813 in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. He came to Indiana with his parents in 1818. He married Sophia Morris in 1839 at Blue River Meeting in Washington County. She was born in 1818 and was a daughter of Benoni and Rebecca Morris. Edmund died in 1863 at Blue River. Sophia died in 1873 at Blue River.
Phinehas Albertson (1768-1839) married Rebeckah White in 1793 at Perquimans (Piney Woods) Monthly Meeting. In 1794 they transferred from Perquimans (Piney Woods) to Symons Creek Monthly Meeting in Pasquotank County. They were later members at Suttons Creek Monthly Meeting in Perquimans County. Phinehas was named an overseer at Suttons Creek in 1795. In 1803 they transferred to Symons Creek and in 1808 to Springfield Monthly Meeting in Guilford County. They removed to Blue River Monthly Meeting in Washington County, Indiana in 1830. Phinehas died in 1839 at age 70, and Rebeckah died in 1846 at age 74. They are buried at Blue River.
Jesse Arnett was a minister present at Indiana Yearly Meeting in 1830.
Thomas Arnett (1791-1877) was born in Guilford County, North Carolina in 1791. He was a son of Valentine and Sarah Arnett. Though not raised a Quaker, Thomas joined Union Preparative Meeting of Deep River Monthly Meeting in 1816. He was a charter member of Union Monthly Meeting, in Stokes County, in 1818. In 1825 he removed to Center Monthly Meeting in Clinton County, Ohio. He married Rachel Faulkner in 1826 at Center. She was born in 1809. They transferred to Miami Monthly Meeting in Warren County in 1847. After Hannah’s death Thomas married Hannah Hudson, a daughter of Samuel and Dinah Hudson, in 1853 at Miami. Thomas was a minister among Friends and travelled widely. He died in 1877. Hannah transferred to Philadelphia Monthly Meeting in 1878.

Jonathan and Hannah Chapman Backhouse visited Indiana Yearly Meeting in 1831. Jonathan (1779-1842) was the son of Jonathan and Ann Backhouse of Darlington, England. He married Hannah Chapman (Gurney) Backhouse (1787-1850) in 1811. She was a native of Norwich, England. Both were noted ministers. Hannah’s visit had a lasting influence on Indiana Yearly Meeting. Friends remembered her for her advocacy of First Day Schools, many of which were established with her encouragement. Jonathan died in 1842 at Darlington. Hannah died in 1850.
Jesse Bailey was a member of Short Creek Monthly Meeting in Jefferson County, Ohio. He was disowned in 1862 for joining the Wilburite (Conservative) Friends.

Libni Barnard was a son of Benjamin and Eunice Barnard of New Garden Meeting in Guilford County, North Carolina. He maried Amy Macy, a daughter of John and Eunice Macy, in 1789 at New Garden. In 1797 Amy removed to Center Monthly Meeting in Guilford County.
Elisha Bates was a minister of Short Creek Monthly Meeting in Jefferson County, Ohio. He served as Presiding Clerk of Ohio Yearly Meeting in 1819, 1825-1826, and 1828-1831. He came to Ohio in 1817 with his wife, Sarah, from Wayne Oak Monthly Meeting in Virginia. He was disowned in 1837 after being baptized with water.
William Beard was a minister present at Indiana Yearly Meeting in 1830.
John Bell (1768-1839) was a native of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. He married Sarah Bundy in 1789 at Little River Meeting House under Symons Creek Monthly Meeting. She died in 1806. He then married Lydia Symons in 1809 at Symons Creek. He was both an overseer and an elder in Symons Creek Monthly Meeting. John and Lydia and their family removed to Springfield Monthly Meeting in Guilford County in 1809, then moved on to Whitewater Monthly Meeting in Wayne County, Indiana in 1817. John died in 1839 at Milford Monthly Meeting in Wayne County, Indiana.
Ann Binford (1793-1888) was the daughter of Chappell and Martha Binford. She was born in 1793 in Virginia. She came with her mother to Indiana in 1832. She married Samuel Moore, Jr. in 1840. He was the son of Samuel and Margaret (White) Moore of Perquimans County, North Carolina. Ann died in 1888 at Walnut Ridge, Rush County, Indiana.
Ashbel Binford (1803-1860) was a son of Joshua and Lydia Binford. He was born in North Carolina in 1803 and came with his parents to Rush County, Indiana in 1826. He married Avis Edgerton in 1832 at Duck Creek Meeting House in Henry County. She was a daughter of Reuben and Patience Edgerton and was born in 1814. She died in 1834 and is buried at Walnut Ridge. He married second to Gulielma Symons in 1837 at Milford Meeting in Wayne County. She was born in 1805 and was a daughter of Abram and Mary Symons. He married third to Lavina (Harrell) Binford, a daughter of Charles and Rachel Harrell and the widow of Asa Binford, in 1859 at Westland Meeting in Hancock County. She was born in 1825.
B. Binford is listed as a son of Micajah Binford. Nothing more is known of him.

He married Judith Binford, his first cousin and a daughter of John and Martha Binford, in 1811. For marrying his first cousin, he was disowned by Jack Swamp Monthly Meeting, but he was readmitted to membership the same year. In 1826 they removed from Rich Square Monthly Meeting to Duck Creek Monthly Meeting in Henry County, Indiana, though they actually settled in what is now Ripley Township, Rush County. They were early members of Walnut Ridge Friends Meeting. Benajah died in 1858, and Judith died in 1871. Both are buried in the Walnut Ridge Burying Ground.
Elizabeth (Cook) Binford married Robert Binford in 1819 at Western Branch Monthly Meeting in Virginia. In 1819 she transferred to Upper Monthly Meeting. In 1827 she transferred back to Western Branch.
Hannah (Crew) Binford was the mother of the Binford brothers of the Walnut Ridge Meeting in Rush County, Indiana. She married James Binford. In 1782 they transferred from Black Water Monthly Meeting in Virginia to Rich Square Monthly Meeting in North Caroina. She was an overseer in Rich Square Monthly Meeting. In 1827, after the death of her husband, she removed to Stillwater Monthly Meeting in Ohio. She was granted a certificate to Duck Creek Monthly Meeting in 1827. She lived in the Walnut Ridge Community at the end of her life.
James Binford was a cousin of James L. Binford. He was a grandson of Thomas Binford.
James Ladd Binford (1787-1862) was born in 1787 in Northampton County, North Carolina and was a son of James and Hannah (Crew) Binford. He married Mary at Wayne Oak Monthly Meeting in Virigina in 1812. After her death he married Jane Binford at Burleigh Monthly Meeting in Virginia in 1823. Jane was a daughter of Chappell and Martha Binford. They removed to Rush County, Indiana in 1826. They were members of Walnut Ridge Meeting. James died in 1862. Jane died in 1867. Both are buried in the Walnut Ridge Burying Ground.
John Binford (b. 1813) was a son of Benajah and Judith (Binford) Binford. He was born in 1813 in Northampton County, North Carolina. He came to Rush County, Indiana in 1826 with his parents. He married Mary Moon in 1839 at Walnut Ridge Meeting House. She was born in 1820 and was a daughter of Jeremiah and Rachel Moon. In 1851 they removed to East Grove Monthly Meeting in Iowa.
Joshua Binford (b. 1779) was born in North Carolina in 1779. He was a son of James and Hannah (Crew) Binford. He married Lydia Patterson in 1800 at Jack Swamp Monthly Meeting. She was born about 1778. Joshua served as an overseer and elder of Rich Square Monthly Meeting. Joshua and Lydia removed to Rush County, Indiana in 1826.
Martha Binford, Sr. was the wife of Chappell Binford and the mother-in-law of James Ladd Binford. She was the daughter of Robert and Ann Hunnicutt. She married Chappell Binford, a son of Peter Binford, in 1775 at Black Water Meeting in Virginia. She came to Duck Creek Monthly Meeting (Walnut Ridge Preparative Meeting) in 1832 from Upper Monthly Meeting in Virginia. She died before 1840.
Martha Binford, Jr. (b. 1790) was the daughter of Chappell and Martha Binford. She was born in Virginia in 1790 and came with her mother to Indiana in 1832.
Mary Binford was the daughter of Joshua and Lydia Binford. She married Abraham Presnall, a son of Stephen and Hannah Presnall of Henry County, in 1832 at Walnut Ridge Meeting House. He was born in 1809 in Northampton County, North Carolina. They were charter members of Walnut Ridge Monthly Meeting in 1836. They removed to Driftwood Monthly Meeting in 1846, then to Mississinewa Monthly Meeting in Grant County in 1846. Mary died about 1847. Abraham married Tamer Thomas in 1847.
Micajah Binford (1783-1865) was born in North Carolina in 1783. He was a son of James and Hannah (Crew) Binford. He married Sarah Patterson in 1804 at Jack Swamp Meeting House. After Sarah’s death he married Miriam Morris in 1820 under the care of Symons Creek Monthly Meeting. She was born in 1792 in Pasquotank County and was a daughter of Nathan and Mary (Bell) Morris. In 1826 they removed to Rush County, Indiana, where they were members of Walnut Ridge Meeting. Miriam died in 1841. Micajah married Charlotte A. Butler after Miriam’s death. She was born in 1792 and died in 1865. Micajah died in 1865. He and his last two wives are buried in Walnut Ridge Burying Ground. The children of Micajah and Sarah were William, Micajah C., Rebecca, and Anna. The children of Micajah and Miriam were Sarah, Kathy, Margaret, Martha, Miriam, and Mary.

Rebecca Binford (1814-1891) was the daughter of Micajah and Sarah (Patterson) Binford. She was born in 1814 in North Carolina and came with her father to Rush County, Indiana in 1826. She married Thomas Jessop in 1832 at Walnut Ridge Meeting House. He was born in 1814 in Wayne County, Indiana and was a son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Jessop. They were charter members of Walnut Ridge Monthly Meeting in 1836. Rebecca died in 1891 near Walnut Ridge.
Samuel B. Binford was a son of Samuel and Mary Binford. He was a native of Virginia. He was received at Duck Creek Monthly Meeting in Henry County, Indiana on a certificate from Upper Monthly Meeting at Gravelly Run in Dinwiddie County, Virginia in 1832. He married Ann J. Butler at Rich Square Meeting House in Henry County in 1833. She was born in 1813 and was a daughter of James S. and Deborah Butler. Samuel transferred to Milford Monthly Meeting in 1834.
William Binford (b. 1804) was a son of Micajah and Sarah (Patterson) Binford. He was born in 1804 in Northampton County, North Carolina. He came to Rush County, Indiana in 1826 and was a member at Walnut Ridge and Carthage Meetings. He married Mary Jessop, a daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth Jessop, in 1827 at Walnut Ridge Meeting House.

He and is wife Mary, also a minister, transferred to Philadelphia Monthly Meeting from Uwchlan Monthly Meeting in 1810. They transferred to Salem Monthly Meeting in Ohio in 1831.
